Aboriginal Awareness Training
OBJECTIVE
The objective of Aboriginal Awareness & Cultural Training is to equip your employees and management teams with the knowledge and understanding of the Aboriginal culture that they interact and do business with. Many behaviours of the Aboriginal culture are largely misunderstood, creating unnecessary communication barriers. In addition, the Aboriginal peoples are commonly grouped into one perspective yet, each group is distinctly different in their lifestyle, behaviours and cultural practices. It is our objective to educate and inform so that these barriers and stereotypes can be removed, and be replaced with a greater understanding and appreciation for Aboriginal Peoples.
OPPORTUNITY
By receiving Aboriginal Awareness & Cultural Training your employees, management and corporate executives will be empowered to establish successful business relations with the Aboriginal peoples they are in contact with. The training will help to give an appreciation for the culture and lifestyles of the Aboriginal peoples living in the region. Participants will have a greater understanding of how the Aboriginal culture translates into the work place, and will receive valued tips on how to respond. Investing in Aboriginal Awareness & Cultural Training means your organization will spend less time on mending relations and more time on building them right from the first point of contact.
CUSTOMIZED, PERSONAL, PROFESSIONAL
C&O Consulting Ltd. attributes the success of our Aboriginal Awareness & Cultural Training to the Customized, Personal and Professional approach that we take. Our standard process with all of our clients is to first meet with a representative from your organization to discuss what your needs, your goals, and targeted outcomes are. Once we learn about your current challenges and successes, and what you hope to achieve from the training, we will work with you to develop a course syllabus that supports this vision. We recognize that the needs of each organization are different and that your time is valuable. By customizing the course content we are able to effectively deliver your key messages in the allotted time scheduled for each class. It is our experience that this Customized, Personal and Professional element is the key to 100% client satisfaction. We are committed to your satisfaction beyond the execution of the first class, and are willing to modify the course content as your organization grows and changes.
